We are proud and excited to announce the return of executive chef Kara Decker  to 100 steps Kitchen + Raw Bar. Kara Decker brings over 26 years of dedication and passion to the New Jersey food industry, both in catering and private restaurant settings. She has been featured in New Jersey Monthly multiple times for her “bacchanal mindset which is to take something already perfectly-tempting and alluring and make it just a little more hedonistic” as quoted.  returning to  “She’s a rogue, independent thinking creator with a unique ability to make seductive mischievous dishes using only the best of those local seasonal ingredients” also quoted from Inside New Jersey. She is proud of being featured in Celebrity Chefs of New Jersey for her distinguished cooking talents. Kara received her classical French training from The French Culinary Institute in New York City, now known as The International Culinary Academy. Kara has chosen the garden state, specifically Cranford, her hometown because she believes exquisite dishes can be prepared here in her own backyard. She is excited to be back at 100 Steps, the place she helped in  concept , design and launch. This is the perfect place to return to and she is as happy to be back home as we are to have her.
